Why Is My Adsense Account Banned

If your Adsense account has already been banned by Google, then maybe you can find out in the following article what you did wrong. If not, then read this closely and staying away from the following „techniques“ will probably keep your Adsense account safe.

First of all, make sure you have really read and understood the Adsense Terms of Service. Google has some pretty strict policies and you should really get to know them before putting the ads up on your site. Here is a small list of activities which will get you banned, sooner or later.

1.Clicking your own ads
2.Putting Adsense up on adult/warez/drug/gambling related sites
3.Putting ad relevant pictures next to your ads (e.g. Putting a Playstation picture next to a Playstation ad)
4.Tricking visitors to click the ads (e.g. „Click on the ads and win a free iPhone!“)
5.Asking the visitors to click your ads (e.g. „Support us by clicking the ads“)
6.Having multiple accounts
7.Registering an account after being banned
8.Having your friends/relatives/acquaintances click on your ads
9.Putting Adsense on popups that generate other popups when closed (this is done to increase the impression rate)
10.Disclosing your earnings per click, impressions and click through rates
11.Using click bots to click your ads
12.Putting Adsense on sites with no content
13.Hiring workers to click your ads
14.Creating spam sites just for Adsense
15.Stuffing hundreds of keywords on pages
16.Using excessive profanity
17.Page cloaking
18.Adding hidden texts

If you don't know what „page cloaking“ means or what exactly „spam sites“ are, don't worry. It's better if you don't know. As long as your content is good and everything on the site is legitimate, you shouldn't get into trouble with Google. Also I would suggest staying away from all of the „black hat“ Internet marketing community. Using their techniques might make you a lot of money, but it is more likely that you will just get banned.

And another thing. If you don't like Google's rules, find yourself another ad provider. Adsense is Google's game and if you want to play it, you have to do it by their rules, or find yourself another game.

Hope this helps all you Adsense newbies and professionals as well. Feel free to comment or share this artcicle with your friends!
